5/22から始まる世界保健機関（WHO）総会を前に、市民社会が主催する一連の政策討論会(5/16-20＠Zoom)のご案内です。限られた参加者しか参加できないWHO総会を揶揄したこの討論会のタイトルには「WHO総会のドアの外で点と点を繋ぐ」という言葉が添えられています。聴くべき人びとの声は会場にはない。だからこそ、その声をここで結び合う、そんな会になるようです。（タイトル名：People’s realities, determinants of health, democratic governance:　Connecting dots outside the doors of the World Health Assembly）」。英語ですが、ぜひ！

People’s realities, determinants of health, democratic governance: Connecting dots outside the doors of the World Health Assembly

At the 75th World Health Assembly (WHA75) scheduled for 22-28 May 2022, the size of delegations allowed to attend the WHA proceedings in-person at the Palais des Nations will be strictly limited. This awkward setup is explained by the Secretariat of the World Health Organization with capacity issues (delayed renovation of the Palais des Nations), and it has found its way into the title of the May 2022 series of policy debates hosted by the Geneva Global Health Hub: “People’s realities, determinants of health, democratic governance: Connecting dots outside the doors of the World Health Assembly”. Outside the doors of the World Health Assembly – this is indeed where most of us will be.
