各国のCOVID-19拡大防止にともなう市民社会への制限をまとめた報告書

市民の活動と市民社会の強化を目指す国際ネットワークCIVICUSによる調査報告書「市民の自由とCOVID-19パンデミック　世界各地における制限と攻撃」の日本語訳（翻訳：JANIC、SDGsジャパン、ヒューライツ大阪）が出ました！
COVID-19（新型コロナウィルス）の感染拡大を抑え込むための試みとして、世界各国で政府等による様々な制限が行われ、また現在も続いています。中には人権や市民の自由な活動・発言、人権を阻むものもあります。その多くは、感染拡大防止を理由に、既にあった制限を拡大適用したり、あるいは強化する形で実施されています。報告書は、世界各国のそうした事例を集め、警告を発しています。

CIVICUS, a global alliance of civil society organizations and activists dedicated to strengthening citizen action and civil society throughout the world, published the report “civic freedoms and the covid-19 pandemic a snapshot of restrictions and attacks”, compiling information on key civic space issues that have surfaced due to the response by governments and some others to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as raising serious concerns about the state of civic space at this time.
